Love: Miss Shelly and Miss Jill Preschool FIVE Lately, our classroom has been getting inspired by the movies that we have watched and have enjoyed at home. The movie ‘Trolls’ was a big hit in our room, which led to Troll Week with the children taking part in various activities each day. This time around, we have been inspired by the movie ‘Moana.’ We watched part of this movie already and the children have taken an interest in learning Hawaiian dances, songs and learning other names for Grandma and Grandpa. Due to heightened interest, we have decided to host Culture Week! We want to know what special practices, words and/or activities that our kids participates in with their families! Each day we will focus on a different culture – so stay tuned for more details to come! Important Notes: It’s that time of year! It’s time to start bringing in sunscreen, if you haven’t already! Sunscreen will be applied for both morning and afternoon outside times. With spring in full swing, we need to get to some spring cleaning!
