BIKING FOR MENTAL WELLNESS
STIGMAFREE RIDE
The event will take place on Sat., May 20
(check-in at 9:00 a.m.) and will raise awareness
about mental health conditions, as well as support NAMI-WRV’s community programs. It is a
10.7 mile “family-friendly” bike ride from the
BCRD in South Hailey to St. Luke’s Hospital,
with prizes given for largest group, most spirited, and best themed teams. Please contact

How often do we take the time to discern what Jesus wants from
us? Are our prayers always petitions, asking Jesus to do things for
us? If so, that’s a one-sided relationship. Living our faith means
developing a personal relationship with Jesus. Just like any
friendship, there is give and take, each side listening to each other
and helping each other out. Take time in silence to listen to what
Jesus is asking of you.

Idaho Catholic Appeal – Thanks to your generosity, our parish has reached our goal. Right now we have
$20,845. That is 101.24% of our goal. Thank you again! But you can continue giving your donations.
Because we will receive back all funds collected over 110% of our goal which we will use for the

CAPSTONE MISSIONS JUNE TRIP! Capstone Missions will be traveling to Tijuana on June 3-10, 2017 for the
third of our four mission trips this year. We have a lot of projects and need many helping hands. If you have ever
considered giving a week of your time in service to the Lord, this would be an excellent time to participate in an

Cinco de Mayo Celebration – May 6th – from 11:00a.m. – 6:00pm
Come and celebrate the Cinco de Mayo with the Hispanic Community of St. Charles Borromeo, with
delicious Mexican food, like: tacos, carnitas (pork meat), enchiladas, fruit, and much more. Also we will
have a big raffle, games, folkloric dancers from Alturas Elementry School and live
