There were a lot of very nice cars there, and it was a huge success. A big ‘thank you’ to all of the RCC members who volunteered. Let’s hope for some more sunny weather, so we can get the cars out more. Every one start thinking of a Bumper-to-Bumper cruise. One of the Rose City Classics target events is NSRA at the Clark County Fairgrounds June 28-30. Accolades continue to roll in for the third year at the EXPO Center, from move-in & set-up to tear-down & move-out. The attendance gate was over 31,800, the highest gate in the modern era of the show. RCC cars entered includedTony Potts’s ‘56 Chevy (1st Place in his class) Mitch & Ramona Sott’s ‘33 Chevy (2nd Place in their class) and John & Susie Custer’s ‘57 Chevy. The show closed at 5PM this year, a first. Two local folks were inducted as Honorary Members of the Hall of Fame: Keith Presky (Pharoahs Club) and Mike Conn (NW Lowriders Club). I cannot thank enough those who voluteered (you know who you are) and ask if more club members would consider volunteering in the future. We needed more help every day after 4PM.
