The Snowplow Sam levels are designed to help the preschool-age skater (5 or younger)
develop preliminary coordination and strength necessary to maneuver on the ice. Snowplow Sam
curriculum mirrors the Basic 1-8 class structure.
Basic 1-8
The “Basic Skills” are the fundamentals of the sport. These eight levels of the program
introduce the fundamental moves: forward skating, backward skating, stops, edges, crossovers, three
turns and Mohawks.
Free Skate 1-6
The Free Skate levels are designed to give skaters a strong foundation on which to build
their skills. This is the point where the skater can chose whether to pursue a recreational or
competitive approach to the sport of figure skating.
Wednesday Classes:
Jun. 27 & Jul. 11, 25 & Aug. 2, 8, 15
Sno-Hawks Hockey 1-3
Friday Classes:
Jun. 29 & Jul. 6, 13, 27 & Aug. 3, 10, 17
Prerequisite: All Mini-Hockey 1 students must pass Snoplow Sam 3 (in hockey gear) to register for
Mini Hockey 1.
Skaters registered for Wed! We will NOT be running
classes July 4th! You may have your fee prorated if
you cannot make your makeup class on other days.
Our front office is the ONLY place that can prorate
your fee.
The Sno-Hawks program is structured the same as the Hockey programming, but for
preschool aged students (5 or younger).
Hockey 1-4
The Hockey levels are designed to make hockey players out of all comers. By developing
and mastering the fundamental skills required to play the game, each student will be able to enjoy the
game for years to come.
Prerequisite: All Hockey 1 students must pass Basic 2 (in hockey gear) to register for Hockey 1.
* Free Admission does not include skate rental fee ($3) on days outside your class day. Skate rental is included on the day of your class
