HOW TO USE THIS FORM: this form will assist you in ordering what you require for your party. It calculates everything for you. The only minimum requirement is to have at least 1 "Reserved Zone" & 15 Ticket Passes. Discounted rates apply when booking upfront.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE BLUE TRAIN PARK
BOOKING: To book is as simple as completing this form and sending it by email to [email protected]. An invoice will be raised accordingly and sent to you.
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PEOPLE PER PARTY: The blue Train Park is only able to accommodate parties up to 50 (parents/children combined) on weekends. This is to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience by all park visitors. For larger bookings, the park can possibly accommodate from Monday to Friday only. Please contact us for more information. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS: By confirming a reservation or entering the park, the visitor hereby confirms having read and understood these terms and conditions and accepts them in full. LIABILITY WAIVER: The Blue Train Park, Better Days Projects (Pty) Ltd, the Rotary Club of Sea Point, their directors, employees and any other person/entity involved in the park shall not be held responsible and disclaim all liability and/or responsibility whatsoever, of any nature whatsoever, resulting from entering the park, using the park, the play structures, the train and/or any other activity/structure within the park boundaries. Visitors enter the park at their own risk and are aware of the risks associated with using the park. Children are to be supervised at all times by a parent, adult and/or guardian. By entering the park, the visitors confirm having read and understood this liability policy and accepts it in full. Failure to accept this policy could result in the booking being cancelled, access being denied.
RIGHT OF ADMISSION RESERVED: The Blue Train Park staff and/or management reserve the right to deny/grant access to the park. Their decision will be final and binding and no explanation will be required in the event of someone being denied access.
RATES AND PRICING: The park offers discounted rates for bookings paid upfront. Should a visitor elect to only book a reserved dedicated area and not to pre-­‐
purchase entrance and/or train tickets in advance, standard normal rates will apply on the day. PAYMENT: IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please make payment into the below bank account. The Booking will only be secured & confirmed once full payment is received. Please send the proof of payment to: [email protected]. Note: It is important to note that a specific time slot and zone can only be reserved once payment has been received. Zones and time slots will be marked as “unavailable” once payment has been received for such a zone or time slot. If a customer has made an online booking but not yet paid, until payment is received, the booking will not be confirmed. It is possible that your requested time slot and zone becomes unavailable due to the fact that another customer has chosen it and made payment. In such an event, a customer would need to choose another zone and/or time slot.
We apologise but we do not accept cash, cash deposit and/or cheques. Should a customer still deposit money through cash and/or cheque a transaction fee of R25/ transaction will apply and will be payable upfront or on arrival. The Rotary Blue Train Park accepts VISA, MASTERCARD AND DINERS CLUB bank cards at the park kiosk.
TRAIN/RAILS/STRUCTURES AND SAFETY: In order to ensure the safety of all visitors and staff, the staff and/or management of the park reserve the right to stop the train operation and/or access to the park and /or play structures with immediate effect and without prior notice without giving any explanation whatsoever to visitors. Instructions given by staff and/or management of the park are to be adhered to.
RESERVED PARTY ZONE: A minimum of 1 (one) paid for Reserved Zone is required in order to be able to host a party at the park. Management and/or staff reserve the right to deny access should a customer/party not have paid for a reserved area. Any party does not have exclusive use of play equipment.
TIME SLOTS: should a customer want more time than allocated time slots; for every extrahour extra time, or part thereof, the customer will be charged R375 per hour venue fee. Any other charges are calculated on a prorata basis per full hour or part thereof. BRING YOUR OWN: The Blue Train park will only allow visitors to bring jumping castles and/or a water slide on prior written agreement. Visitors are welcome to bring table/chairs/gazebos/umbrellas/cooler boxes and small items required to host a wondeful party. However, no other "large" props/structures are allowed on site without prior arrangement -­‐ example of these props can be: popcorn machines, ice cream machines, electrical appliances, etc..
SETTING UP/LEAVING/END OF PARTIES: The Blue Train Park requires all booked parties to strictly adhere to the reserved times. This is to ensure all parties are set-­‐
up in time and affairs are conducted in an orderly manner. The same applies when it is time to pack up and leave. The staff and/or management of the Park has final say as to where a party is to be set-­‐up and/or when a party needs to be ended and packed up.
WATER/ELECTRICITY: The Park encourages wise use of water and electriicty. Therefore, should a visitor bring their own equipment with prior agreement from management of the park, the Blue Train Park will charge a fee for water and/or electricity where applicable. This is not negotiable. SMOKING: The Blue Train Park is a children's park and is therefore a non-­‐smoking environment. Visitors who are found to be smoking could be asked to leave the park. ALCOHOL/DRUGS: The Blue Train Park has a zero tolerance policy in terms of alcohol and/or drug usage. Visitors who are suspected (no need to provide proof by staff/management) to be under influence will be denied access or asked to leave the park. CANCELLATION POLICY: Should a request be received to cancel a booking 14 days or more before the scheduled date, a full refund will apply. Should a request be received to cancel a booking 6-­‐13 days before the scheduled date, a 50% refund will apply. Should a request be received to cancel a booking within 5 days of the scheduled date, no refund will apply. Alternatively, if requested, arrangements can be made to accommodate at the next available date & time slot. WEATHER: If for any reason, the forces of nature (extreme rain and/or wind) prevent the park from being able to accommodate a booking then arrangements will be made for an alternative date & time slot. Visitors accept that staff/management's decisions in closing and/or opening park, play structures and train are binding and to be adhered to.
DO's & DONT's: While in the Park the following rules apply: No Loitering, No picking of vegetation/flowers, No Pets, No Hawking, No littering, No Glass, No unsupervised crossing of railway tracks (request staff for assistance). Staff and/or Management instructions are final and binding.
