This will be a busy year, building up to a grand opening in the fall. Inside the medical center for this entire month, workers are doing more taping, plastering and sanding to walls in hallways, exam rooms and offices on all floors. The acoustical ceilings are being installed, as are windows in stair wells, and inner and outer courtyards. The network of scaffolding surrounding the medical center will start to come down soon. In the parking structure, the “crash” walls are going in, as are the parapet walls and columns. Across the campus, landscaping has begun, and curbs, gutters and sidewalks are being created along Industrial Road.
