III International Industrial Fair INNOPROM 2012 was held on July 1215 in Ekaterinburg:
Dmitry Medvedev addressed the main
plenary meeting “Building the future:
Industrial growth for people”.
- Over 500 companies took part in
exhibition “INNOPROM 2012”. Among
them are international companies from
the USA, Germany, France, Italy, Turkey, Czech Republic, Belarus and other
countries
- About 57,000 visitors during 4 days
- Over 90 events as part of the business program
- 34 long-term agreements for an overall amount of RUB 182.5 bln were
signed
- 38 foreign delegations from 32 countries of the world

Forum of Industrial Design
On July 13-14, the first Forum of Industrial Design “Formika” was held in
Ekaterinburg as part of “INNOPROM 2012”.
The presentation of Karim Rashid, the world’s most successful designer,
who gave the lecture “New Role of Design” was the Forum’s key event.
The graduates of the Ural State Academy of Architecture and Arts who work in the
world-known companies, took part in the plenary discussion “Ural Top 7: from an
Idea to Implementation”. Among them were Artem Neretin (PSA Peugeot Citroen),
Vladimir Pirozhkov (AstraRossa), Elena Leinmuller (Bosch-Siemens), Andrey Basmanov (Renault), and others.
A number of Forum’s round tables covered industrial design for urban
environment, product and interior design.
The Ural designers presented their latest works at the Forum’s stand. Many of
these design items have not been shown to the general public yet.

SIGNING OF AGREEMENTS AT INNOPROM 2012
Sverdlovsk Regional Government’s
booth at INNOPROM became a “point
of attraction” of the whole exhibition.
Almost 20 events took place here,
including with the participation of the
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. Set as a universal communications
platform, the booth became the venue
for the Open Government session.
34 long-term agreements totaling
about RUB 182.5 bln have been
signed at INNOPROM 2012.
Uralvagonzavod and Bombardier
signed an agreement on the organization of the production of modern
underground trains and trams.
One of the most high-profile events of Sverdlovsk Region’s booth was the panel
discussion of the Russian Federation Open Government with the participation of
Minister of Relations with the Open Government Mikhail Abyzov, resulted in arrangements for cooperation with Sverdlovsk Regional government.

Over 1,200 journalists from 475 mass-media. All the main events of
INNOPROM were broadcasted live around the clock.
38 delegations from 32 countries, which totals 500 people visited INNOPROM in 2012.
Among them were the ambassadors of the US, Denmark, Lithuania, leaders of such large
international companies as Siempelkamp, Bombardier, DuPont, Siemens, Philips, 3M, and
others.
