BYOT Recommendations
for 2015-2016
In Springboro Community City Schools, students in grades two through 12 are
encouraged to Bring Your Own Technology (BYOT).
BYOT is a key factor as we continue to build a 21st Century learning platform
for all students. BYOT allows a broader use of technology across grades and
subject areas because BYOT supplements the district’s technology.
Springboro Schools recommends that students use Chromebooks.

How to protect your Chromebook/device?
A protective case is recommended for all students. It is required for BYOT in grades two through five.
Accidental Damage Protection is encouraged.
Register your device with Springboro Schools. Although the district is not liable for the loss or theft of a
device, registering it can assist the district with the location of lost or stolen devices.
