Lunch Payment Options for NutriKids
Please note the following, keeping in mind that a major goal of this implementation is to
speed up the food service lines and give students more time to eat, relax, and socialize:
1. You have three options for funding your child's lunch account, two of which carry no
fee, they are as follows:



Option 1: Fund your child's myschoolbucks account through the cafeteria for
no added fee. Simply send in a check or cash for the amount you want
credited to your child's account. The lunch cashier will collect the money and
credit the account directly from the register. This is similar to the manner in
which your child's lunch card was funded.
Option 2: Continue to send in cash or checks on a daily basis or as necessary.
Option 3: Create an account in www.myschoolbucks.com, and fund the
account for one or multiple children with up to $120.00, for a $1.95
convenience charge. One fee per transaction, funds can be split between
siblings for only one fee.
** Please note, that by no means is any family obligated to use the
myschoolbucks system and/or pay the associated fee, it is simply a processing
and convenience charge should you prefer to take advantage of the
service. This charge covers the processing of the online payment as well as
gives you the benefit of emailing you when the balance is low, and/or set up
recurring payments. In no way does North Bellmore control or collect any
portion of this fee.
2. Other important items to note:



All transactions will be completed via a PIN number, whether you are doing a
cash transaction or have a funded myschoolbucks account.
Cafeterias will have complete lists of these PIN numbers in case a child
forgets his or her PIN.
You may create a myschoolbucks account and NOT fund it, simply to monitor
your child(rens) purchases.
