Instrucciones para aplicar
El programa de Maestría en Estudios de Derecho Estadounidense, de la Escuela de Derecho de Notre Dame, utiliza una
filosofía de evaluación de la persona como un todo, para crear una cohorte a partir de una gran número de aplicantes
muy calificados. Buscamos atraer estudiantes multidimensionales, de todas partes del mundo, con un amplio rango de
talentos, formación, experiencias, logros y puntos de vista. La habilidad académica, tal y como se refleja en el
desempeño académico universitario, también es importante. No obstante, la Escuela de Derecho considera una amplia
gama de elementos además de las medidas cuantitativas. Quienes están involucrados en el proceso de admisión son
conscientes del objetivo de la Escuela de Derecho de producir abogados que sean competentes y que estén
comprometidos con servir a sus clientes con integridad.
Requisitos generales
• Un grado de Doctor en Jurisprudencia (J.D.) o un grado de Licenciatura en Derecho, de una universidad acreditada.
• El formato de aplicación diligenciado.
• Una declaración personal que contenga su interés específico por el programa de Maestría en Estudios de
Derecho Estadounidense, de Notre Dame.
• Hoja de vida.
• Dos cartas de recomendación.
Los aplicantes deben aplicar en línea, a través del sistema de aplicación en
línea del LSAC (Consejo de admisiones de la Escuela de Derecho, por sus
siglas en inglés).
Tarifa de aplicación
Se exige una tarifa de aplicación de $75. Usted puede enviar su tarifa de aplicación en línea, junto con su aplicación, a
través del LSAC.
Fecha límite para aplicar
La fecha límite para aplicar al programa de Maestría en Estudios de Derecho Estadounidense es 4/1/2014.
Entrevistas y eventos en el campus
A algunos estudiantes selectos se les invita a una entrevista telefónica. Sin embargo, las entrevistas no son un requisito
del proceso de selección. Su aplicación, y la documentación de soporte, deben brindar al comité de admisiones el tipo de
información que usted brindaría en una entrevista. Si usted llegara a participar en una entrevista de información o
asistiera a un evento del campus de Notre Dame, en su universidad, antes de enviar su aplicación, puede indicarlo en las

Requisito de dominio del inglés
