Dear Family,
On Friday, May 26th our fifth grade classes will be traveling to the Portage
16 IMAX Theater. While there, we will view the movie Hubble.
This movie is a 3-D experience and offers our students an opportunity to
experience life aboard the Space Shuttle Atlantis. The film’s goal is to make
viewers feel as though they are voyaging through space, seeing with the assistance
of the Hubble telescope and experiencing the life as one of the astronauts working
on the telescope.
The cost of the trip is $8.00 per student. If you would like to sponsor a child
for the field trip, donations would be appreciated. Please send in the permission
slip and payment on or before Thursday, May 18th.
