Additional dates may be available
A tropical retreat showcasing the best of three distinct islands,
with deluxe resort hotels that will take your breath away.
DAY 1: FLY TO HONOLULU
The moment we step off the plane we
feel the “aloha” spirit that draws so many
travelers to this island paradise. Delight
in a traditional flower lei greeting. Then
check in to the fabulous Waikiki Beach
Marriott Resort & Spa located near the
white sands of Waikiki Beach where
we can view the famous Diamond Head.
DAY 2: 1& " 3 -) " 3 #03
After breakfast, we journey to the
most moving site on Oahu, Pearl
Harbor. On December 7, 1941, the
Japanese attacked the Navy’s Pacific
Fleet here, catapulting the U.S. into
World War II. We stop by the visitor’s
center to view the exhibits that recall
that pivotal day. Then, embark on a
Navy launch to the USS Arizona
Memorial, which spans the sunken
battleship. Enjoy an included

Aloha Tower Marketplace, once a
beacon for arriving ships, before
continuing our city tour. We pass
Chinatown, the State Capitol building,
and Iolani Palace, a gem of Hawaiian
Renaissance style and the only palace
in the U.S. once inhabited by a
reigning monarch. Later, we drive
through the Punchbowl, an extinct
volcano and home to the National
Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
After a rewarding day, enjoy dinner
on your own this evening. B,L
DAY 3: OA HU
You are free today to follow your own
desires. Stroll Waikiki beach, once a
retreat for Hawaiian royalty in the 1800s;
it was nicknamed “Sans Souci,” French
for “without worries” and it even attracted
the likes of Robert Louis Stevenson.
Flower Lei Greeting
Diamond Head
You’ll quickly understand the appeal
of these white sands. Perhaps you’ll
return to see more of Iolani Palace,
visit the Polynesian Cultural Center, or
venture to explore Diamond Head. D
DAY 4: 8" *.& "$ " / :0/
Fly this morning to Kauai, known as the
“Garden Isle” for its lush and tropical
landscapes. We enjoy lunch at Kilohana
Plantation, a historic landmark built by
a sugar baron in 1935 and a remarkable
example of plantation-era architecture.
This afternoon, we witness the “Grand
Canyon of the Pacific,” Waimea Canyon.
This vast gorge is a striking palette of
red rock and emerald green vegetation
formed millions of years ago from a
collapsed volcano. Later, we arrive at
the Kauai Beach Resort on the Eastern
Coconut Coast. With its charming
rooms and impeccably manicured
grounds, this lovely spot evokes a
true feel for colonial Hawaii and an
authentic “aloha” spirit. L
DAY 5: , "6" *
One remarkable feature of Kauai is
the size of its buildings: None are taller
than a palm tree! After a delicious
breakfast of fresh island fruit and
American choices, you’ll have all day
to explore its lush corners on your
own. Your Tour Director can help you
make arrangements to explore extinct
volcanoes, visit a gorgeous botanical
garden, coffee plantation, or even

whaling port dotted with historical
landmarks, shops, and galleries.
The town is especially known for its
gigantic Banyan tree whose branches
reach out over an acre. Later, we
arrive at the Hyatt Regency Maui

Waikiki Beach
The Waikiki area was once a haven for
Hawaiian royalty and has been welcoming
tourists since the turn of the twentieth
century. The father of modern surfing,
Duke Kahanamoku, grew up conquering
the waves of Waikiki Beach. The beach
is arguably Hawaii’s most famous.
With Diamond Head looming in the
distance, its white sands, gentle surf
and swaying palms are iconic symbols
of the Hawaiian Islands.
Drums of the Pacific : Maui’s
#1 Polynesian Luau Show
The sound of the conch, the beating
of the drums, and the echoes of the
Hawaiian chant signal the start of Maui’s
most exciting luau. Discover the islands
of Polynesia through song and dance,
complete with a traditional imu ceremony
and the exotic flavors of native Hawaiian
cuisine. Our luau features authentic
dances and music of the old Hawaii,
Samoa, Fiji, New Zealand, Tahiti,
Tonga, and Rarotonga.

Activity Levels
There isn’t a universal standard for rating
tours; however, to help evaluate if a tour
is right for you, Holiday Vacations has
designated a rating system that identifies
the average activity level for the entire tour.
Activity levels are based on the expectation
of general health and mobility. We are using
a sliding scale based on Level 1 being the
easiest and Level 5 being the most challenging. With Level 1, expect to climb
some stairs, navigate slight slopes, stand
for reasonable periods and walk over
relatively level conditions. With Level 5,
expect a high activity level with challenging
conditions, lots of walking, uneven surfaces,
and possibly high altitudes.
As a participant on any Holiday Vacations
tour, you must be able to handle your
carry-on luggage. This includes on and off
the motorcoach, to and from your hotel
rooms, and on and off airplanes. Your
checked luggage will be handled for you
at the hotels. You must be able to navigate
your way through airports. Wheelchair
assistance at airports can be provided
upon request.
If you require mobility assistance, you must
be accompanied by an able companion
who is capable of, and totally responsible
for, providing the necessary assistance.
Holiday Vacations does not provide personal
attendant services.
The ability to perform assorted levels of
activity while traveling varies with each
individual. Although we welcome your
questions regarding the amount of activity
on any tour, Holiday Vacations is unable
to determine your travel health and fitness
level. Please consult your doctor with
questions when evaluating your ability
to travel.
