VAMP Flex System
The new flexible standard in closed-blood sampling
The Edwards VAMP (Venous Arterial Blood Management Protection) system helps conserve blood
during arterial blood sampling procedures and is designed to reduce infection for both clinicians and
patients. Leveraging the proven safety, convenience and patient protection of the VAMP system
portfolio, the VAMP Flex system brings increased flexibility to closed blood-sampling.
With its off-line design, VAMP Flex system allows clinicians to conveniently take blood samples
both distally and proximally to the patient. And when used with TruWave disposable pressure
transducers, VAMP Flex system offers reliable closed-blood sampling with accurate pressure
readings in one unit.

the fidelity of blood pressure readings
VAMP RESERVOIR
Two sampling ports are available located either close to the patient or close
to the transducer. This design helps to preserve the sterile field during surgery
and offers more flexibility to clinicians in the ICU and operating theatre.
Z-SITE SAMPLING PORT
The needleless blunt cannula design provides safety by eliminating needle
stick risks associated with blood sampling.
