Handwriting – Create legible composition with correct spacing between words in a sentence and in margins. During pre-activity, students can write a letter to be picked up at Shawnee Town’s Post Office on the day of their visit. During post-activity, students can tell, write or draw about their experience at Shawnee Town or do a thank you letter to Shawnee Town. Students may also work together in a group to create a banner to carry in their parade. The students decide upon the words and their placement for the banner. D.
