Laptop Abusers By Bradley Knudson and Lloyd Dockstader
The misuse of laptops
has gone too far. Mr.
C. said that he was
going to take them
away if he sees any
more misuse. And I
don’t think he’s
kidding. The
computer R2D2 has
been badly damaged
beyond repair and
when he finds out
who abused it they
are going to pay
$1000 for it. Now if
they would have
come to him and told
him that they had
damaged it he
probably wouldn’t
have gone this far. If
he doesn’t find out
who did it then he’s
either going to make
the whole student
body pay $10 each or
the students who are
assigned to R2D2
pay $200 for it. We
have until next
Monday, the
eleventh of February,
to confess or else
the all the laptop
carts will be paddle
locked for the rest of
the school year. So
fellow students this
problem needs to be
fixed. We have been
warned many times
before and this is the
last time.
Improving Masada Junior High By Madolyn Timpson
In my language class
my teacher, Mrs.
Hammon, gave us an
assignment to write
about improving
Masada Junior High
and here are some
ways to improve.
First of all we need to
start following the
uniform standards,
get more money for
the school supplies
and start paying
attention in class and
stop sluffing and do
our homework.
Second we need to
stop swearing,
fighting, mouthing off
the teachers and take
more care of the
laptops.
Third of all we need
to get e football field
with grass, get a gym
and P.E. supplies for
safety.
Thank you for
listening to my
reasons to improve
the school.

Masada’s Basketball Team By Timothy Timpson
It’s the week after the
basketball tryouts and
the team’s a good
one. The starting lineup is Greg Knudson,
Ammon Timpson,
Kody Dockstader,
Roland Hammon, and
Derek Knudson. The
back-up team is
Joseph Timpson,
Steven Timpson
Anthony Timpson,
“The Team’s A Good
One”
Michael Timpson,
Andrew Musser,
Dustin Hammon, and
Benjamin LeBaron
with the substitutes
Kyle Hammon,
Edward Timpson, and
Justin Zitting. We
were going to have a
game on the sixth of
February but it was
postponed to the
Tuesday after at our
court. (elementary)

Superbowl XLII By Joanne Timpson and Reuben Timpson
The Superbowl
happened a few days
ago, and it was going
to be a great
challenge for the New
York Giants. When
the Giants ended up
winning the New
England Patriots,
they managed
to end the
Patriots’
perfect season.
It was a great joy
to the Giants’ fans but
even a bigger
disappointment to the
Patriots’ fans. The
ending score was 17
to 14. We took a toll
and asked our fellow
student body who
they would prefer to
win and it happened
to come out as a tie of
42 to 42.
Thank you
for listening
or rather
reading. We hope
you enjoyed it.
Illusions
What do you see? A face
or the word liar?
Look carefully on
the center dots of
the image. Which
one is bigger?
Are you sure?

Poems By Lillian Dockstader and Cecilia Johnson
Children and Snow
All winter they had waited; nature didn’t let them down.
“Imaginations leap and
soar”
The squeals and giggles grew as they played without a frown.
Sliding down the perfect hills—a children’s paradise;
No thought of clearing their white soufflé, no thought of chopping ice.
My fingers, ears and toes felt frozen as I shoveled the mountain of snow
But my heart was warm and light as the laughter continued to grow.
Winter is for children; im sure of that today.
This is the season they tumble and laugh and truly love to play.
Computers are forgotten and they only see the snow;
Imaginations leap and soar—this is how little minds grow.

The purpose of a

Newsletters can be a
great way to market your

also create credibility and
