PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Steelfibre DE 50/0,75 N high quality steel fibre for
internal reinforcement of concrete. The fibre length is
50 mm and is suitable for replacing traditional
reinforcement in concrete.
Steelfibre DE 50/0,75 N is supplied magnetically
parallel oriented in 20 kg cardboard boxes.
The magnetically orientation of fibres secures a more
homogenous distribution of fibres in concrete. The fibre
is based on cold drawn steel wire and has hooked ends.
Steelfibre DE 50/0,75 N has tensile strength of
1100 (±15 %) MPa.
FUNCTION AND ADVANTAGES
Correctly used the Steelfibre DE 50/0,75 N is
distributed homogenously in concrete and provides a
reinforcement effect in all levels of concrete.
Steel fibres have a positive effect on surface of concrete
floors and will prevent surface cracks from hydration.
Steelfibre DE 50/0,75 N can replace traditional
reinforcement with nets and bars.
Steelfibre DE 50/0,75 N can reduce the cost of
purchase and installation of reinforcement.

RECOMMENDATIONS
It is always recommended to add fiber at the
concrete factory.
In concrete mixer:
• Never add fibre as first component.
Add fibres during mixing of aggregates or in ready
mixed concrete.
• Mix the concrete until all fibers are homoenously distributed.
In concrete truck:
• Add fibres during maximum speed (12 - 18 rpm)
• Slump of concrete should be minimum 120 mm
• Do not add more than 60 kg/min
• After final addition, mix at full speed for 5 minutes
PACKAGING
Steelfibre DE 50/0,75 N is available in 20 kg cardboard
boxes, 500- and 1000 kg big-bags.
STORAGE
To be stored indoor at dry conditions with shelf life
one year. If exposed to humidity and corrosion the
fibre quality may have changed and the technical
specifications are no longer valid.
