Jim Collier, Mr. Vin Garino, Mr. Tim Turner, Bro. Ronnie Tullos August 2015 Dear Friends, God bless you all and thank you again for your love, prayers and support. God has blessed us mightily during the past few months. Hundreds of people have asked Jesus to save them. Almost 500 during our 28th Memphis Inner-City Crusade alone. On one of the days, I sat in a chair and led 37 adults to Christ as they left our snow cone booth. I had the best “fishing hole” of the day. One man got saved and came back later with his brother, so he could get saved too. He said, “I like the way you break it down Brother Ronnie. You make it simple.” Brother Hector Slaughter taught me the KISS method of soulwinning—Keep It Simple Stupid. Our staff and most of the volunteers from Memphis, and Branch and Victory Baptist Churches in Arkansas personally led people to Christ. Some of them saw folks come to Jesus for the first time. A man, who used to be a businessman, told me one time after going with us that he never knew one could take a Bible and tracts out on the streets and people would stop and listen to him. He is now a missionary in Central America. We issued a call for soulwinners, and God also sent us some wonderful folks from Bellevue Baptist Church. Speaking of Bellevue, a large group of their folks came down several days ago for a Back to School Bash. They gave out snow cones, popcorn, hot dogs, hugs and back packs loaded Volume 28, Issue 02 Soul-winning! It’s what we do! with school supplies. Their Bellevue loves Memphis Ministry is such a blessing to us and other ministries around the city. Thank you to all of them. Back in April, God opened the door for me to go to Batesville Junior High School in Batesville, Mississippi and speak to their Fellowship of Christian Athletes. At least 150 asked Jesus to save them. All glory to Jesus! We went to Dumas, Arkansas in May and saw over 40 folks pray for salvation. Chris Russell and Victory Baptist Church are doing a good work in that part of the country. The RTEA hosted a basketball tournament at the end of May in the Outreach Center and during the halftime preaching, God touched 40 people to give their hearts to Him. Continued on page 2 These are exciting days as God pours out His Spirit on those, who surrender to His Lordship. During the second week of August, Susan and I went to Louisiana and met with a group of preachers from Colfax. We are praying about holding a Crusade in that town with street evangelism during the day and preaching services at night in the civic center. The mayor of the town is a pastor, and I will go back to preach for him in October. While we were there, I preached at the Church where my dad is a member, Liberty Christian Church. Nineteen people asked Jesus to save them, and several of my family members, who had come to hear me preach gave their hearts to Jesus. Both of my brothers, whom I had been praying for since 1981, asked Jesus to be the Lord of their lives, and two first cousins from California, who were in town were saved also. God is good! If you are interested in being a part of the Louisiana Crusade, please let us know, so we can start setting up our lodging and meals (Can I say Cajun Cooking?). It will be during the first part of August 2016, on a Wednesday night through Sunday morning. We will leave out Sunday afternoon, but if you are a pastor, we’ll get you and your folks home for Sunday morning. Let me remind you that the Promised Land Camp is available if you would like to get a group together for intensive Prayer, Bible Study and /or Soul-winning training. You can contact Mrs. Beth McDaniel at (901) 355-9165. What I have found through the years is that people want someone to love them unconditionally. From the ghettos of Inner-city America, to the small towns in the North and South, or in Russia or the Caribbean Islands; people want to be loved and accepted. When they are convinced of that fact, they are more than willing to hear what you have to say. The love of Christ has torn down every barrier that we have ever faced. Your support for the RTEA has enaContinued on page 4 Watermelon time at the ICOC Mrs. Beth and two girls, who needed her hugs, the older one just asked Jesus to save her Merge Group from Texas I am blessed to be in a place where I can preach and teach God's Word whenever I want. Often during the week, we will take timeouts from basketball to preach the Gospel. One particular night I was reading Colossians 3:5-6; “Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience...” I asked the guys to think about their lives and honestly decide if their lives could be described with the word “Obedience” or “Disobedience.” We agreed that none of us wanted to experience the Wrath of God that comes with rebelling against Him. Also, God's Word reminded us that night that these sins listed here should have been put to death at salvation. It was obvious that many of these young men were struggling with conviction over their sin. I was even reminded of my rebellious nature that has to be put to death everyday. The Holy Spirit was working on our hearts and calling some of these men to salvation. Praise the Lord, several men decided to put their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord. They experienced the freedom found in dying to self and letting Jesus be in control. A few of those men are now regulars in our Bible study and often bring friends to hear the Word too! What a blessing to see people saved and then naturally incline themselves to bring others to Jesus! Thank you all. bled us for the past 34 years to love people right where they are. God bless you and thank you for that. Psalm 115:1 “Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.” Sincerely, James 5:16 “. . .The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” Thank you to all of our Prayer Warriors. Many of you get our prayer letter on a regular basis and commit to pray for this ministry.
