Meet Highlights
Evenly matched in swimmers: 62 swimmers to GCC’s 57
swimmers. In Girls’ events we outscored Timberlake by 60
points; Boys’ events we outscored them by 94 points! Relay
events we outscored 83 to 50 points. We outscored them in:
Freestyle events 109/57, Breast events 62/41, IM events only
31/27, Back events 82/45, Fly events 70/30. This shows what we
have been doing has produced results. We begin each season
with a lot of kicking, a lot of Free and Back work and then hit
everyone with Fly! Now we need to look at more endurance and
stroke technique in Breast.

At Time Trials, we had 108 out of the 119 swims
record as their Life Time Best Times, followed by 74
more from the Meet with Timberlake! We had
about at 49% of the swims were Best Times at the
meet. Better than last year’s first meet, 36 of our 62
swimmers made the IronMan Club! Great Job! The
coaches were very proud of our Big Seahawks
cheering on our Little Seahawks.
