This is a detailed handout listed by event which will act as a great resource for
families to stay organized with Hotel Bookings, Bus travel where applicable, and US
Competition Fees. Many of the events listed below do not require hotel stays but we
have created blocks as an option for families to stay if they wish.
Please note the following costs that are taken into consideration to establish the US
Competition Fees charged to families: Exchange rate, Administration time and staff
to register and process payments, Coaches Travel and time throughout competition
day(s).

Junior Teams (Bahama) $370.00 Cdn + HST. This fee includes Competition Fee, Stingrays practice
time, and Commemorative Tshirt (same design and style for all athletes on the trip!)
Senior Teams: $940 Cdn + HST. This fee includes Bus Travel, Hotel, Stingrays practice time,
Competition Fee and Commemorative Tshirt (same design and style for all athletes on the trip!)

Junior Teams: $200 +HST paid by November 15, 2016, $170 +HST paid by January 15, 2017
Senior Teams: $315 +HST paid by Oct 15, 2016, $315 +HST paid by Nov 15, 2016, $310

Hotel Stay: Mandatory – “Stay To Play”-Must stay at property included in the competition company
available hotels. Sr teams will be staying at the Hilton downtown 0.9 miles to the Convention Centre.

Thursday February 16 – travel day for most families.
Friday February 17 - Practice at Stingrays Marietta Georgia (Approx 35min from downtown Atlanta)
Saturday February 18 – Competition Day 1
Sunday February 19 – Competition Day 2
Monday February 20 – Travel day home to Canada
Whitespotted, Lantern, Hawaiian, Sailfin:
Wednesday February 15 – depart by bus (approx. 8pm) and travel overnight
Thursday February 16 – team check into hotel, TEAL Team dinner
Friday February 17 - Team practices at Stingrays in Marietta Georgia (Approx 35 min from downtown
Atlanta) – late morning/early afternoon, optional shopping, visit to the Convention Centre early evening.
Saturday February 18 – Competition Day 1
Sunday February 19 – Competition Day 2 – depart by bus from the Convention Centre following award to
travel overnight back to Canada
Monday February 20 – Arrival home late morning/early afternoon
