1st Grade Supply List for Students 2016-2017
* In first grade, we share most our classroom supplies. It would be tremendous if you
could help prepare your student for our communal use so we can eliminate tears as much
as possible. Please only label your student’s “personal supplies” with their name. Thank you

backpack - no wheels please
lunchbox if packing a lunch
folder - 2 pocket, any design (no brads needed)
zip pencil pouch (soft) to hold class money, coupons, scissors, and fact cards
earthquake Kit - see school guidelines. Some may have their schoolpurchased, 3 year kit at school still.
Mead Primary Journal with illustration box (09902) 100 sheets/ 200
pages. Must have primary dotted line for writing and top half blank for
illustrations. Can be found at Walmart, Staples, Amazon, or purchased from
the school office.
For Communal Use// Shared Supplies - Please DO NOT label:
pencils - 1 dozen yellow Ticonderoga #2, pre sharpened
twistable crayons, 8 count please – these are the long ones that will last all
year and come in the primary colors needed. In addition, we welcome
donations of the 24 pack.
4 LARGE glue sticks (0.77oz) - Elmer’s disappearing purple. (For glue sticks,
this brand really does the best job and purple shows us how much to use)
1 4oz bottle of Elmer’s White Glue
white (not pink) erasers - 4 total, Magic Rub, Pentel, or Steadtler brand
hand sanitizer
1 pack of baby wipes or sanitizing wipes
1 box of soft tissues (with aloe or lotion works best with sore/runny noses)
