The Four Themes of Pilgrimage
A Pilgrimage weekend includes
community, worship, communion,
devotions, small groups and personal
reflection. The weekend is
organized around a series of 15
sessions (five each day) that develop
four major themes:
• Liberation unmasking obstacles to
living a life of grace and being set free
to live a new kind of life in Christ.
• Christ encountering the living Christ
and the disciplines of faith vital to
Christianity.
• Christian Life a method for living
one aspect of the life of grace within
the Church of Jesus Christ, as well as a call to join in that community.
• Perseverance reinforcement of the above three themes to enable us to
faithfully seek to transform our environments for Christ.
