Family Science & Literacy Night

Please join us at the Middle School for an amazing evening
of Science and Literacy!
Meet in the cafeteria for a night of pizza, fun, and sharing! We will have presentations by
students and staff, activities to participate in with your child, as well as crafts to make and
take home. Samples of both moon rocks and meteorites, on loan from NASA, will
also be available for viewing. Here are just a few of the fun activities planned:
• Share a favorite book
• Community Created Posters
• Design a Rocket
• Make a personalized bookmark
• Bring a book to swap
• Make a Word Cloud (Wordle/ Tagxedo)
• Poems written just for you by students
• Find out what determines the size of Impact Craters.
• Moon Brain Busters/ View the Moon Rocks
