AUTUMN 2013
Hi Everyone,
On behalf of the team here at Adina we would like to wish you all a Happy New
Year and hope you all had a great Christmas. Thank you to all who attended the
Christmas Party, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
We have had a busy start to the New Year and as a result I would like to encourage
you to book ahead your respite to ensure the dates you require are available. You can
make bookings by contacting us on 3293 2538, we will look forward to seeing you
soon.
We have introduced a new activities calendar for guests that are staying at Adina
which will give you more options of activities to participate in during your stay.
Activities include visits to the lagoon, BBQ’s, visits to art galleries, movie nights and
scenic drives. We would love to receive your feedback and suggestions for future
activities. There have also been some changes to our usual day time activities, please
check the information provided below and the new calendar for further details.
Kind Regards
Anita Perrigo
CHANGES TO ADINA’S ACTIVITY CALENDAR
The Management and Staff at Adina have been assessing the Activity
Calendar and have decided to make some changes. There will still be a
craft group every Thursday morning from 10:30am until 12:30pm as
usual. All other activities have been put on hold at the moment to trial
a new program. Staff at Adina will be focusing on In-House activities
for a while. This will mean that there will be more activities for the
guests who are staying at Adina. We will be having games nights, movie nights and
regular activities. The staff at Adina will try to keep activities to a nil cost however
occasionally there may be a small cost involved. When this occurs, staff will let guests
staying at Adina know prior to their stay. It is not compulsory for guests to attend
these activities, however we hope to make your stay at Adina a wonderful experience.
We would also like to invite both guests and carers to Adina for a morning tea & chat
on the last Tuesday of each month from 10am. If you have any suggestions, please feel
free to share them with us either in private or at our Tuesday morning tea.
