Mabey is a leading provider of
bridging and non-mechanical
construction equipment and
services, helping to establish the
foundations for communities to
build and grow.
We work with all sectors of the construction
industry including industrial, commercial and
residential building, highways and structures,
rail and utilities.
The majority of our products are designed inhouse by our own engineers who understand
the needs of the industry.
All our products come with detailed user
guides, however we understand that
this may not be sufficient and so have
developed specialised training courses in
temporary works that will improve safety and
competence of the workforce.
Real training, from the
ground up
The Mabey Academy, founded in 2011,
provides 13 courses as well as bespoke
training. We offer courses in all areas of our
expertise and experience, we are ideally
placed to help train your staff.
Mabey Academy provides competency-based
training in the use of non-mechanical plant
under real site conditions.
Our training complements mandatory training
and inspection with best practice and product
know-how, increased awareness and general
competency when using temporary works
products. This allows contractors to work
with reduced downtime, reduce damages
and increase efficiency, allowing projects to
progress much more swiftly than otherwise
and with increased safety for all those on site.

Courses
We offer courses in all areas of our expertise, and as a company with
over half a century of experience in our fields, we are ideally placed
to help train your staff.
All training is carried out by our own team, and can last from 1 to 5 days depending on the
subjects you wish to cover.
Courses can be from the syllabus including:

Alternatively, courses can be tailored to suit your own specification and training requirements.
Every attendee who reaches the required standard will receive a certificate of competency.
We can also provide CPD seminars/presentations, product demonstrations and training for
new product developments.
We believe in the real benefits of competency training so much that
we are now offering subsidised courses for all our customers.
