Stewards interviewed the Mr Paul Strutt the trainer of NOT FEELIN’ IT (7) with regard to the
presentation of the greyhound tonight at 31.7kg (1.4kg heavier than last presented). Mr Strutt
advised Stewards that he was not aware the provisions of GAR39 (2) were not available to
greyhounds having last been presented for a Performance Trial. After consideration Stewards
decided to take no further action other than to issue the greyhound with an Incapacitation
Certificate for a period of 10 days.

INCIDENTS
SIR GIBSON (2), RED JACKET (3), COSMIC DEMON (4) and SIXTEEN (6) were
slow to begin. SIR GIBSON (2), RED JACKET (3), COSMIC DEMON (4) and
SIXTEEN (6) collided soon after the start causing COSMIC DEMON (4) to lose
ground sharply. BOOJI BONE (7) checked MIND MAPPING (5) crossing to the
rails approaching the first turn causing MIND MAPPING (5) to lose ground sharply
checking SIXTEEN (6), RED JACKET (3) and SIR GIBSON (2) with MIND
MAPPING (5) losing further ground as a result of this incident. RUN JAZZY RUN
(1) galloped on the heels of BOOJI BONE (7) at the first turn and lost ground
sharply. SIR GIBSON (2) and RUN JAZZY RUN (1) came together approaching
the home turn.

BASS GIRL (8) checked PARRYDISE GINGER (6), MONSIGNOR ACE (5),
BLINGTASTIC (4), HERE’S ARCHIE (3), GLENDALE SUGAR (2) and AQUA
DRAGON (1) causing PARRYDISE GINGER (6), MONSIGNOR ACE (5),
BLINGTASTIC (4), HERE’S ARCHIE (3), GLENDALE SUGAR (2) and AQUA
DRAGON (1) to lose ground with BLINGTASTIC (4), HERE’S ARCHIE (3) and
AQUA DRAGON (1) the worst affected. GLENDALE SUGAR (2) and MONSIGNOR
ACE (5) came together in the back straight. GLENDALE SUGAR (2) and
MONSIGNOR ACE (5) came together at the turn out of the back straight. BASS
GIRL (8) commenced to lose ground sharply at the home turn and proceeded to tail
off severely checking BLINGTASTIC (4).
A Veterinary examination of BASS GIRL (8) revealed an injured quadriceps
muscle. An Incapacitation Certificate was issued for a period of 10 days.
