Overlapping and Blending Colors of Two Objects in InDesign 1. Create two objects. 2. Choose colors that will blend well together - blue and yellow make green, blue and red make purple, etc. 3. Select the objects. Click and hold the fx on the Control Palate and choose Transparency or go to Object > Effects > Transparency. 4. Click and hold the Mode dropdown menu and choose Multiply. Click OK. 5. Push the objects over each other and the colors will blend and create a different color. If using percentages of the same color in the two objects they will create a new percentage (30% black and 20% black = 50% black where there is overlapping). 2 1 3 4 5 This file is available at www.halschmidt.com Hal Schmidt | [email protected] | 713.828.7460 or 800.679.8829
