The SF6 Quality Analyzer can measure up to seven SF6 gas parameters. Moisture, Purity, and SO2 sensors are standard. Measurements are carried out in a closed loop. The sample gas can be pumped back into the SF6 switchgear, storage cylinder, or collection vessel. The operator connects the 4m PTFE hose to the switchgear or cylinder under test. With the push of a button, readings display immediately for moisture, decomposition products and SF6-purity. Results are automatically compared to SF6 contamination or reuse standard (CIGRE B3.02.01, IEC, or client-specified) and a pass / fail indicator illuminates accordingly. Five hundred test results are stored on board and are quickly downloadable via USB. The free SF6-Reviewer software may be used for gas quality trending and also to export results into .xls format for entry into other databases.
