I was thrilled recently to attend an evening pop up launch event for InSitu
Works, the brain child of my exquisite friend, Alexis Zambrano and his
childhood friend Anna Cecilia Perez (both originally from Monterrey, Mexico).
For Zambrano, art has always been a great passion, but as things often go, it
took a little while him to fully embrace that passion. Now he is not only
creating his own art, but with Perez, curating the most fabulous works by
other artists. Insitu Works is about empowering collectors while supporting
emerging artists, providing a full-service experience for collectors to achieve
their art collecting goals.
I had a chance to chat with Zambrano and Perez at their pop up launch
event. “Our goal,” they conveyed, “is to find the perfect piece for your space,
hence the name InSitu Works.” What is clear to me — and will be clear to you
as well, when you visit their site — is they both have the most marvelous
taste and it’s reflected in their art selection — and with a large stable of artists
and a wide range of price points, there is something for everyone! As an
interior designer, I’m always on the hunt for the best pictures to hang in my
clients’ homes, and I’ll definitely be perusing the InSitu Works online site quite
often. Do take a look!
I’m photographed above with the ever elegant Alexis Zambrano and the
ravishing Anna Cecilia Perez. I’m sporting a Tom Ford linen, silk, cashmere
glen plaid suit, pink mini check shirt, brown and pink floral silk tie and brown
leather tasseled loafers, Charvet pink and white retro print silk pocket square,
a pink silk carnation boutonierre from Fort Belvedere and my fragrance is
Tom Ford Oud Fleur.
