Assets increased ¥5,324 million from the end of the previous term. Current assets and fixed assets grew ¥4,865 million and ¥460 million, respectively.
Among current assets, cash and cash equivalents decreased ¥428 million, inventories grew ¥1,899 million, and notes and accounts receivable increased
¥3,402 million.
Fixed assets rose, because of ¥417 million growth in investment and other assets.
Liabilities increased ¥4,005 million from the end of the previous term. By item, accounts payable and short-term debts grew ¥2,853 million and ¥2,000
million, respectively.
Net assets expanded ¥1,463 million from the end of the previous term, thanks to a positive balance created by a capital increase attributable to net income
and other factors and a capital decrease with the distribution of profits, including the payment of dividends.

Cash flows from operating activities generated expenditures totaling ¥1,445 million. Factors behind this result include ¥1,422
million in income before income taxes and minority interests, receivables growth of ¥3,391 million, inventory growth of ¥1,898
million, payables growth of ¥2,841 million, and ¥717 million in income taxes paid.
Cash flows from investing activities generated expenditures totaling ¥555 million. The acquisition of long-term prepaid expenses
was among the main causes of the result.
Cash flows from financing activities generated income totaling ¥1,570 million. The income was attributable to factors such as
higher short-term borrowings.

Systems Business Strategy
1. Expand the scope of target equipment to keep pace with the trend towards
digital security monitoring solutions. (Launch digital devices and enter the
monitoring camera market.)

Key Investment Highlights
To attain the operating income target of 6.3 billion yen for the fiscal year ending
March 31, 2010, MegaChips will expand its target areas and its customer base and
ensure sustainable growth.
