Current assets and fixed assets grew ¥4,865 million and ¥460 million, respectively. Among current assets, cash and cash equivalents decreased ¥428 million, inventories grew ¥1,899 million, and notes and accounts receivable increased ¥3,402 million. Fixed assets rose, because of ¥417 million growth in investment and other assets. Liabilities increased ¥4,005 million from the end of the previous term. By item, accounts payable and short-term debts grew ¥2,853 million and ¥2,000 million, respectively. Factors behind this result include ¥1,422 million in income before income taxes and minority interests, receivables growth of ¥3,391 million, inventory growth of ¥1,898 million, payables growth of ¥2,841 million, and ¥717 million in income taxes paid. Cash flows from investing activities generated expenditures totaling ¥555 million. The acquisition of long-term prepaid expenses was among the main causes of the result. Cash flows from financing activities generated income totaling ¥1,570 million.
