Downloading
KDL eAudiobooks
to your iPod / MP3 Player
Note: For an iPod Touch, please use the download instructions for Downloading KDL eBooks / eAudiobooks to
Your Mobile Device or Tablet.
1.
Download OverDrive's desktop app for Windows or Mac at http://app.overdrive.com. Install the free
application to download audiobooks to your computer and transfer them to your iPod.
2.
Go to https://kdl.overdrive.com on your computer and sign in to your account with your library card.
(Select Remember my login information on this device if you want your card number to be saved for
the future.)
3.
When you have found an eAudiobook that you
would like to check out, click Borrow.
4.
Go to your Checkouts page (under your account)
and download the audiobook. It should open
automatically in OverDrive's desktop app and
prompt you to download its parts.
5.
Plug your iPod into your computer. Once the audiobook has finished downloading, click the file, then
click Transfer. Follow the on-screen prompts to transfer it to your iPod.

Once it's transferred, you can listen to it just like any other audio file on your iPod. By default, you can
find MP3 audiobooks under "Music" on your iPod.
