The sponsors announce a two-day conference on Historical Archeology of the Hudson Valley: A
Multidisciplinary Approach. Archeologists, historians and museum curators will be brought together to
discuss the role each plays in the excavation and interpretation of our historical past. The intent is to show
the value and pitfalls of interdisciplinary teamwork. The conference serves as 1982's Rensselaerswyck
Seminar and Cherry Hill Forum. Registration fee includes admission to all sessions, tour of excavation,
reception at the Cultural Education Center and lunch at Historic Cherry Hill.

DIRECTIONS
Cultural Education Center
From Exit 23 of the New Yofi( State Thruway take 787 North
and exit at the sign for US 20 West, Madison Ave.
From 1·90 take 787 South and exit at the sign for US 20 West,
Madison Ave. The Cultural Education Center is one·quarter of a
mile from the exit on the left side of Madison Ave. The center
contains the State Library and Museum and is at the south end of
the Empire State Plaza. Parking is adjacent to the Center.
Historic Cherry Hill
From the Cultural Education Center travel east on US 20,
Madison Ave., to 787, following signs for 787 South, Thruway.
Exit from 787 at the sign for NY 32, So. Pearl St. At the exit
stoplight turn left and look for Historic Cherry Hill almost
immediately on your right. Parking is in front.
