Explain this diet/who eats it:
Decomposers break down
dead animal and plant
matter. They include
mushrooms, fungi, bacteria.
Detrivores consume dead
animals and plants. They
include insects, worms and
other invertebrates.
The carnivore diet is when
animals eat other animals.
This is not the same as the
classification of the “Family:
Carnivora.” Black bears are
in the Carnivore family but
eat an omnivorous diet.
Omnivores are animals that
eat both animal and plant
matter.
Herbivores are animals that
eat only plant matter.

such as: raccoons, coyotes,
black bears, chimpanzees,
foxes, opossums, rats and

such as: deer, squirrels, mice,

Foldable Activity Design Template: (8.5 x 11” sheet for 5.5 x 8.5” Result)
8.5 x 11”
paper
Like this.
Like this.
Fold the paper
in the center.
Fold again.
Fold the outside
flaps in.
Now you have
three fold lines.
This is what your foldable will look like
when you print out the double-sided art
and fold and as instructed above.
Last step is the cut the outside flaps to
separate each question.
Then cut along premarked lines for an
“8 Question” Foldable.
For best foldable results, use
heavier paper. Cover stock is
best, but 65 pound works great
too.
