Cliff thought for a moment, “ Ok, a whole lot of faith, since I don’t know who I am either”
Cliff answered, “ We could use a place to lay her down and some food and water, but unless
you can fix a badly broken leg, I’m afraid there’s not much you can do to fix her up.
The young man smiled, “You’re in luck, I’m Dr. Kyle Tater and my specialty is orthopedic
surgery. That leg looks pretty bad, bring her in and lay her down on the bed and we’ll have
a good look at it.
The three went into the cabin and closed the door.
Meanwhile at the accident sight the highway patrolman was introducing himself, “I am officer Hugh Hottie, is anyone seriously injured?”
Cathy answered quickly, “Yes, I think I’m in need of mouth to mouth resuscitation.”
Mary smacked Cathy on the back of the head and said, “I’ll give you mouth to mouth, we
need to get me to a hospital!”
Cathy rubbed the back of her head and said, “I have the feeling you’ve done that to me before.”
Becky wailed, “I just want my Mommy!”
Hugh shook his head, “It’s a full moon tonight, it figures I’d get the nutty ones.”
The paramedics loaded them into the ambulance and they headed for the hospital.
