Renaissance Figure Facebook Project

Renaissance Figure Facebook Project – Due Monday, 3/28/11
Use the template uploaded to the Mr. Parsons staff web page via the Lancaster City Schools
website. You MUST save changes to the existing example template to your “X” drive. Some
quick explanations of terms/categories used in the template:
Networks: place he’s possibly living or lived
Political: Any political stance he has taken? For example, was the person in support of political
figures or did famous leaders of the time period commission them to submit works?
Religion: may be hard to find, but if they’re Italian or English…..
Friends: don’t search “Who was friends with Leonardo da Vinci?”, but this would be people
who have been in contact with the figure (5 pts)
Wall: initial conversations or messages other people are having, or messages they are posting.
Be creative in this, as these conversations are fake, but they should be fact-based in reference
to something that actually happened in their life! (5 pts)
Relationship: may be hard to find, but if you can’t find it, again, be creative.
Personal Information: you may need to change what is listed on the template. For example,
Leonardo da Vinci isn’t going to have a favorite TV show or movie, but they may have other
favorites. This is where you would put other interesting facts that don’t fall into other
categories on the template. You may create your own. (10 pts)
Photos: Again, since this is the Renaissance, there probably aren’t any. However, there may be
sketches, pictures of their works, where they were born, laid to rest, etc. etc. (5 pts)
Keep in mind, this needs to be historically accurate. That is the challenging part in applying
information to a technology that didn’t exist in the past time period!
*The 4th slide needs to be a cut-and-paste link page of where you found your information!*
