Neil Thompson Students in Ms. Lauren Wilson's Extension RTI class expanded their knowledge of new vocabulary while responding to various texts during RTI classes this year. The Students recorded new and interesting works they encountered as they read and found synonyms and antonyms for these words. Also, students used their journals to respond to various types of texts. Our grant allowed us to purchase journals, colored pens, colored paper and dictionaries to help engage students in their learning. Students in Mrs. Susanne Collins' and Mrs. Jane Fiscus' RTI classes benefited from this grant as well. Plus Endowment was established 16 years ago to offer grants to teachers, enabling them to provide exciting and innovative learning experiences for the students in Henry County. Plus Endowment is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. The only expenses are for promotion of the program.
