Brains sold very cheap
Wake up, O suicide bomber
By Intisar Al-Ma’tooq
O
ur beloved country last Friday
experienced a difficult time,
because we took too lightly the fact that
wickedness overpowers the hearts of
treacherous people like poison.
We will not talk about the bright side
of the suicide bombing that rocked the
country and Al-Sadiq Mosque to be specific, as the depth of patriotism and
nationalism between the ruler and the
ruled became visible afterward. Instead,
we will discuss the level of intelligence
the beard of religion hid behind to
deceive the public by creating the
impression that the war is personal and
sectarian-based.
The cunning individual (s) or let’s say
‘foxes’ that recruited people to execute
the ‘heroic task’ in a despicable drama
failed to consider the temperament of
the audience (public) which forbids
applaud for blood. The producer of the
cheap drama failed to realize that the
temperament of the audience never falls
for the slogan which says, “Hate me
because we differ in belief and creed”.
Going back into history, we will find
scenarios of suicide bombings. We will
also notice the method of execution of
the treacherous act is similar, and the
only difference in the one-way battle is
the place and individuals sacrificed.
We all know the kind of people adopting such organized- abhorrent means
and style to commit criminal acts, and
we also know the temperament of such
people.
We do not fear that our country will
fall into sedition, but we fear that the
peaceful image of our beloved country
will be tarnished or mudded by treacherous individuals. Kuwait is distinguished
by peace and security; it is the oasis of
peace and blessings, and everybody here
will work hard to preserve and protect
its peace and stability.
I really wish to ask the followers of
‘skewed ideologies’ who have sold their
brains very cheap and made to believe
that Islam is all about destruction; I
want to ask those brains bought under
the pretext of “holy war’’ if they do not
realize that they are brainwashed and
controlled by remote — just like devices
are controlled by remote?
Do they realize there is no paradise
after wearing a suicide vest, and there is
no beautiful women waiting for them
after blowing up the people worshiping
our Creator?
Have you — the next suicide bomber
— ever asked yourself when your time
will come to wear the suicide vest to
blow up the souls of fellow Muslims?
Have you ever asked yourself why the
person asking you to wear the suicide
vest does not wear it first? Is it because
the vest cannot fit his potbelly or he has
a huge life responsibility to bear, and so
he’s postponing his ‘’vest day’’ until further notice?
Perhaps, none of the deceived youths
feel enticed until they find themselves
wearing the explosive vest. Probably,
they only realize their action when they
stand before a praying congregation —
seconds before setting off the explosives, and then open their eyes in hellfire.
I really wish the clerics who engage
in social media activities will talk about
freedom and jihad without explaining its
rules and regulations, in order to actively involve in rescuing brains that have
been stolen by the evil-bearers.
We are in the bottleneck of terrorism
but we are certain to overcome it
through unity, harmony and sincerity
and we will break the bottle without
harming our beloved country. May
Almighty Allah grant the country peace!
My deepest condolences to the families of victims of Al-Sadiq Mosque incident and I wish those wounded quick
recovery.
