A developmental delay is a later-than-typical growth in any of the following areas of development: physical,
cognitive, speech/ language, social/emotional, and self-help. The following services can help determine if a delay
is present, and provide services to nurture the individual’s strengths to improve these areas of functioning.

Protection and Shelter: Relief from Domestic Violence
Domestic abuse may include emotional or verbal abuse, denial of access to resources or money, restraint of normal
activities or freedom, sexual coercion or assault, threats to kill or harm, and physical intimidation or attacks. Help
