Nobody understands the value of a coherent brand identity better than those whose
job it is to translate the essence of a brand for others to experience. As
Pomplunspanier grew in recognition for precisely this type of work, its own website,
however, was starting to be left behind. Built in the beginning of the company, it now
looked plain and stationary compared to the brand itself - modern, dynamic, and
emotion-rich. In need of an updated digital presence the team at Pomplunspanier

Light yet powerful
As an agile two-person team, Overnice is committed to tools that amplify their

Pomplunspanier website, Julian Bauer, the developer on the project, says: “we
wanted something that would give us flexibility without weighing us down”. This is
why other alternatives, such as building a Wordpress-based or custom in-house
backend was out of the question. On the other hand, quickly building the first
prototypes with Graphcool, the team was pleased with the lightweight and intuitive
way it supported rapid iteration. As a result, Overnice made the choice to use

team focused on the actual task at hand - modernizing Pomplunspanier’s online
