NATURE O~ VARIANCE
We wish to extend an existing fence an additional forty feet
along the east side of our property parallel to South 11th
Street.
The existing fence is a six foot white picket fence
(cedar), and the addition would be the same with a decorative
garden gate at our side door Ceast) walk.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS AND REASON E.QR. REQU~ST
Our property is located on the corner of University Avenue
and South 11th Street with our side porch facing South 11th
Street and the rear of the Chevron Service Station.
We have
had problems with people using this ~ide part of our yard for
late night picnics.
Also this will block our yard and view
from the rear of the service station 7 s dumpster and grease
collection area.
WHY REQUEST NOT DETRIMENTAL TO AREA
The extension of the fence should not be a problem for anyone
as our mail is delivered at our front entrance on University
Avenue.
The fence will be about sixty feet back from the
corner of our yard at University Avenue and South Eleventh
Street.
We feel that the fence w:ll not change the character
of the street and neighborhood and wi!! ~~1, he ~~ 3zset.

fact the extension of the fence will not be very noticeable.
It will serve as a buffer area bet~een the commercial
property next to us and our home.
