Norman
VFX Supervisor
After completing studies at art school, Jessica began
her VFX career at MPC in 1998. She started work in a
technical position and then in 2000 moved into feature film
Compositing, working on Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Harry
Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Between 2000 and 2003 Jessica worked on a number of
high profile movies including Lead Compositor on Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets,
Lead Compositor on AVP: Alien Vs Predator and Compositing Supervisor on Elizabeth: The
Golden Age.
Jessica’s artistic talent and technical capabilities have made her an invaluable asset to the
team and one of MPC’s youngest artists to be promoted to the role of VFX Supervisor. Since
2003 Jessica has supervised teams on blockbuster movies including Tim Burton’s Corpse
Bride, Storm Breaker, Watchmen and Night at the Museum 2 as well as working as DFX
Supervisor on Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood and 2D Supervisor on Harry Potter and The Deathly
Hallows: Part 2.
In 2013 Jessica led MPC’s teams on the VFX for Marc Forster’s Zombie apocalypse World
War Z, creating the unforgettable Zombie pyramids and digital environments of the
Jerusalem sequences. After, Jessica worked as MPC VFX Supervisor on Ridley Scott’s
biblical epic Exodus, leading the team on over 500 VFX shots.
More recently Jessica worked as MPC London’s VFX Supervisor for the Fantastic Four reboot
and for Juan Antonio Bayona’s A Monster Calls.
Currently Jessica is VFX Supervisor on Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman.
