K4 Classroom News!
Fun, Fun, Fun!
This week we welcomed a new
friend to our classroom. We welcomed
Ms. Cassie. We can’t wait to get to
know her better.
We have different events coming up! The week of
January 30th we will be celebrating Catholic
Schools Week! There are a lot of fun things
planned for us that week. Look for a flyer of
events to be sent home soon.
This week we learned about the
Letter F. We wrote the letter F and we
learned the sound that it makes. We
also enjoyed filling a letter F with fruity
fruit loops as well.
We also have Valentine’s Day coming up. We will
be having a Valentine’s Party that day! The
students are able to bring in Valentines for their
friends.
Our snowman from our family
activity came out super cute! They are
hanging in our classroom. The letter
that we are going to work on this
coming week is the Letter L!
The dramatic play area will be
turned into a post office as well. We are
so excited to send mail to our friends!
THANK YOU!
We wanted to thank Ms. Cassie for taking the time
to come to our classroom and learn with us. We
learned that she loves donuts! We each received a
donut sticker! Thanks Ms. Cassie for deticating
your time to learn with us.
On February 6th we will be celebrating the 101 day
of school. More information to come.
Religion
Our Saint for the month of January is St.
Bernadette. The virtue of the month is
Fortitude. Fortitude means being brave.
The Virgin Mary appeared to St.
Bernadette, but no one believed her.
Many people made fun of her and tried
to get her in trouble. She did not let this
bother her and she stayed strong and
she still believed in the truth. St.
Bernadette showed fortitude.
