RULES
The CHALLENGE is on! Let’s show our community how much we LOVE our pets! Join forces
with the Backstreet BARK and help us to raise much needed funds for rescued animals that are
in need of forever homes! PRIZES for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places!
Dog house must be homemade! No “kits” allowed.
The Doghouse Building Challenge will be judged on creativity and originality - not necessarily
on the size of the doghouse.
May be assembled ahead of time OR constructed onsite. Pre-cutting/pre-painting is allowed
(must provide your own power source if required)
9:00 AM sharp start time - Please arrive in plenty of time to set up and be ready to build! If
you are delivering a completed house, it must be onsite by 9:00 AM.
Five (5) hours to complete on-site assembly
Dog houses should be unique and original
Functionality and safety of pets should be priority in construction
Construction finished at 2:00 PM, Judging at 2:30 PM and drawing begins at 3:00 PM
Houses will be raffled for $5/ticket or 5 tickets for $20. All proceeds will be divided among all
animal rescues present at the Backstreet BARK
Must be present to win
Must remove from premises by 5 PM. Trailer and extra manpower may be required!
