The landing door locking device consists of two parts, the locking housing and the
locking hook. The door locking device can be used only on 2 panels side opening
sliding doors and on 2 panels central opening sliding doors.
The locking takes place by a hook mounted on the door panel. The housing is
mounted on the door rail. Also is it possible to open the lock by means of a triangular
key according annex B of the NEN-EN 81-1l2. The contacts can be used up to 230 V
and 2A AC or 200 V and 2 A DC.
Further properties and conditions are given in the EC-type examination certificate.

Examinations and Tests
A sample of ready safety components was randomly taken at the manufacturers
premises. The following examinations and tests were carried out:

Examination of the measures carried out by the manufacturer, to ensure the
continuous conformity of the ready safety component with the applicable
EC-type examination certificate in the following areas:
Material procurement
Receipt of goods
Production
Assembly
Finish adjustment and functional tests
Documentation
lnspection of quality records and test records
Comparison of the current drawings - especially drawings for the production
with the EC-type certified documentation.
Comparison of a safety component randomly taken out of the production with
the EC-type certified documentation, to check validity of material specification,
dràwings and parts list
Comparison of components with the basis of examination
Performance of a basics functional test.

4. Results of the random check
The checked safety component was found in compliance with the technical
documentation. The safety component passed the performed tests.
The following remarks were made:
On every provided EU-declaration of Conformity, both the correct Certificate
number NL10-400-1002-040-09 as the applicable date has to be mentioned;
A calibration report of the used torque-tools during assembly of the safety
component on the conveyor belt shall be submitted;
The test-procedure for final approval, at the end of the conveyor belt, needs to
be documented.

5. Conclusions
The remarks as mentioned in chapter 4 shall be solved. The effectiveness of the
corrective measures will be checked during the next random check. Liftinstituut
issues the certificate of conformity to type.

Each safety component of HAS, type T2-KAT, that is in conformity with the EC typecertified safety component shall be CE-marked according to annex lll of the Directive
under consideration that conformity with eventually other applicable Directives is
proven.
Following annex lX pt.5 of the Lifts Directive2014l33/EU, the CE-marking on the
component shall be accompanied by the Notified Body identification no. 0400 of
Liftinstituut B.V.
The next random check shall be carried out within the applicable interval, with the
aim to keep the right to apply the Notified Body identification number 0400 of
Liftinstituut BV. Unless othenrise agreed the interval of the random checks is yearly
