Creekside Wins NATIONAL Science Bowl
Congratulations to the Creekside Science Bowl Team, Melissa, Brendan, Anthony, Caleb, Asim,

Performance-Qualified School District Bill to be Law
Next week, the Governor will sign Senate Bill 189, which will provide regulatory relief to CCS and other high-performing school districts who
already meet the state’s 10-year goals.
Towne Meadow Hits “Paws” on Bullying
As part of a school-wide campaign to combat bullying, TME is encouraging students to “fill
other’s buckets” with positive interactions from their PAWS’ support system. To read more

A Greener College Wood
The College Wood Recycling Club discovered a problem during their weekly meetings: there were not enough recycling bins to
collect all of the school's recyclable waste. Club members applied for and were awarded a Carmel Green Teen Grant that was used to
purchase 7 large recycling bins to be placed in each grade level pod, the media center, and the lunchroom. The Club is now
collecting nearly twice as much recycling each week! (Photo left)

CHS Student Sports Broadcaster Featured as Athlete of the Week
Jimmy Kennedy, senior and sports broadcaster for CHTV, was featured on WISH-TV’s Athlete of the Week segment for his

College Wood Class Joins Global Celebration of Paul Revere’s Ride
Challenge 4/5 students celebrated the 238th anniversary of the midnight ride of Paul Revere in their classroom with a “Keep the Ride
Alive®” event, which included t-shirts, the reading of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s famous poem, Paul Revere’s Ride, and discussion of
both its poetic and historic importance to American literature. (Photo left)

West Clay Raises Almost $3,000 for Endangered Animals
Thanks to the Student Advisory Council, WCE raised $2,830 for the World Wildlife Fund that will provide sanctuaries for over 30
