Join us for an exclusive peek at a day in the life of a
zoo keeper! Campers will be able to see how some
animals are cared for, visit some behind-the-scenes
areas, and learn what it takes to feed and maintain
exhibits for over 100 animals per day. Plus they will
complete a week long enrichment project!

*Times and aftercare are the same as regular day camps.
Please note: In order to provide as many campers as possible
with the opportunity to attend Junior Zoo Keepers, campers
registering for 2 weeks of JZK may be waitlisted for their
second week. Please specify which of the two weeks is the
camper’s first choice when registering.

Have you always wanted to be a zoo keeper? If
so, get ready for a fun filled week discovering what it
takes to work at the zoo through hands-on activities
and projects. Campers will go behind-the-scenes,
help prepare animal diets, clean an exhibit area, study
animal behavior, create enrichment, and much more!

provided the opportunity to explore a variety of creature careers through guest speakers, career building lessons, and

By popular demand, we’ve created a full week of animal handling experiences just for teens! Get ready for close-up encounters with some of our Animal
Ambassadors, learn the facts, and practice perfecting your animal handling techniques in this week-long animal training. *Campers who successfully complete this
week of camp may elect to become a volunteer and continue the animal handling fun throughout the summer by providing animal encounters with our guests!
 It is highly recommended that attending campers in Specialty Camps be able to independently complete physically challenging activities with limited assistance and be able
to safely come into contact with allergens such as animal dander and hay. Please note campers will have limited contact with select animals.

for an exciting week of camp all about amazing
adaptations and discover how animals transform
to survive!

Travel the world and become a Guardian of
the Globe, ready to Avenge our animal friends!
Learn how to be a superhero for our planet, and
meet some special animal superheroes, too!

Take off on a journey across the planet to learn
about wildlife from around the world! Each day
we will discuss a new continent and the animals
that call it home.

learn about the full cycle of life, poo and bugs,
too!

Storybook adventures ahead! Each day we will
read and discuss an animal tale then immerse
ourselves in the story’s theme with crafts,
games, and related animal activities.
