The horrific genocide perpetrated by the
Khmer Rouges left the country devastated,
a complete breakdown of society, moral
values along with systems of social
solidarity were lost.
The main victims are the children
scavenging on the municipal rubbish dump
or street trading, often abused or exploited
by traffickers, without food, without health
care, without schooling.
