Our team presents the opportunity for customers to access
an established turnkey service provider with not only a
deep understanding of your dewatering challenges and
requirements, but also a fresh and energetic approach to the
delivery of enduring, trouble free assets backed by our ‘can
do attitude’ and Zero Harm systems.
ASSISTED
EVAPORATION.
WHY ASSISTED EVAPORATION?
Turnkey assisted evaporation systems
provide a unique solution for our
customers where:
 Environmental Protection legislation
prohibits the discharge of a treated
water containing no substance at a
concentration higher than that found
normally in the local environment
 Solar evaporation from storage ponds
is typically time-consuming
 Land availability and the cost of
constructing additional storage ponds
is high
EQUIPMENT SOLUTIONS
PROVIDER
and Apex assisted evaporator units, LE is wellequipped to provide either a single or
multiple system solution.
A single system typically comprises six
evaporator units, pressure pump, electrical
control panel, power generation and all
required auxiliary equipment to complete
the tie-in of hydraulic and electrical
components.
All systems can be fully automated by
weather stations which activate based on
pre-programmed weather criteria, allowing
the system to operate unmanned.
From basic trial setups up to large
systems, our dedicated and experienced
team will tailor a solution to project
requirements as either a Rental, Sale
or Hire with Option to Purchase (HOTP)
opportunity.
TURNKEY SERVICE
Our turnkey service commences
with concept, design and complete
engineering, progressing through to
fabrication, mechanical and electrical
services to build systems in-house,
followed by pre-installation testing
before our Assembly, Installation and
C ommissioning (AIC ) teams complete the
process on site.
LE have built a market leading
reputation by listening to our customers,
delivering innovative solutions and
providing purpose built, feature rich
equipment with superior reliability.

WEATHER
CONDITION
MONITORING.
Weather condition monitoring is an
integral part of assisted evaporation
systems that allows full control of the
evaporation process.
The systems can constantly monitor
weather conditions, such as humidity,
temperature and wind direction. With this
information, LE pre-programmed
software can start and stop the system
when required.
This allows the system to run fully
automatically with no human interaction,
costs and reducing safety and
environmental risks.

BACK TO BASE
MONITORING.
In keeping with our business philosophy to
continually lead by innovation, LE has
developed a 24 hour per day, 7 days
per week remote control, Back to Base
Monitoring system for its installations.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR
OUR CUSTOMERS?
LE can provide everything from a
detailed daily operational system report
and alarm warnings for early detection of
potentially problematic performance
trends, through to full remote operation,
reporting.
This means customers can see exactly
what is being produced, what is
happening and if so desire, start and stop
the system.
Drew Langford
All this time, customers can rest assured
that LE’s experienced team is monitoring
the system to identify potentially risky
performance trends and vital equipment
operating statistics continuously. This
guarantees equipment is always running
optimal performance.
Additionally, once the monitoring and
management equipment is installed,
there is no need to have employees tied
up on site to monitor, maintain and look
after something they may not have the
knowledge or experience to manage
properly.
Our LE Back to Base Monitoring
system can substantially improve
and equipment downtime.

WOULDN’T IT BE NICE TO
RECEIVE A DAILY REPORT ON ALL
OF THE ASSISTED EVAPORATION
EQUIPMENT YOU HAVE ON SITE?
The list of reports and controls which can
be tailored to suit customer requirements
is only constrained by their imagination,
but can include for example:
 How many hours did the system run
last shift, or since being in operation
on site?
 How much fuel has been consumed
by the power generator to deliver the
outcome desired?
 How much power has been
consumed by the system?

Q&A.
How much water can we expect to evaporate? Evaporation
rates will be dependent on the number of systems installed
and on the environmental conditions on the day.
How much will each evaporator potentially evaporate?
As an example, the Turbomist units can evaporate up to
approximately five litres per second per unit, but again this is
effected by environmental conditions.
Do you provide an estimation on your expectations?
Yes, we do. Our experienced team considers long
term forecasting and existing weather trends and make
assumptions based on this.
How do you get it close when you have no control over
the weather? We are very conservative and assume 50%
to 70% efficiency, although the systems normally achieve
considerably more.
Our water is contaminated/saline and we are concerned
about overspray? Overspray is not an issue as all LE systems
can be installed with weather controlled automation.
If wind speed or direction fall outside of these controls the
system will shut down automatically before overspray occurs.
What if conditions change and we need to adjust the
system? In most cases, our LE technicians can simply
get online and do this for you remotely. In instances where
we are unable to perform remote adjustments we will come
and do this for you on site.
Can you turn on a camera and view the equipment in
operation? Yes, if you wish.
Can I have remote access? Yes, when operating in a 3G area
we can provide this to you Free of Charge (FOC).
Unfortunately, due to the costs associated with satellite
downloads we cannot provide this FOC but it is available for a
small installation and monthly download fee.
Won’t the contaminated product be evaporated with
the water? No, only the water will be evaporated and the
contaminants will return to the storage pond.
How long will it take to get the system installed? Normally
only 10 to 12 working days from order.
Won’t this effect the evaporation rate? Yes, but it ensures
you meet your environmental commitments and only takes
advantage of ideal operating conditions, reducing fuel burn
and makes certain that you won’t have an environmental
breach.
