EASY FUNDRAISING – HOW TO USE
Easy fundraising is the new owner of Spend and Raise. easyfundraising.org.uk is a great way
to raise money for charities, schools, sports clubs, community groups, and other good causes just
by shopping online. You don’t pay anything extra. There are hundreds of different shops that
you can use on Easy Fundraising, Tescos, Amazon, John Lewis, Achica, Talk Talk.
Currently there are only 4 registered users fundraising for Ewelme School and to date they have
raised £339.34 to date (Sept 2014). Think how much more we could raise if all parents signed
up…
Remember
It is free, you do not pay any extra for your purchases but FOES will get a percentage from the
seller.
It is anonymous, other people (including FOES) will not know what you are buying!
1. Go to http://www.ewelme.oxon.sch.uk
2. Using your mouse, left click on the “enter” image on the screen
3. Left click on the “FOES icon” (see below) which is on the right hand side of the page, half
way down the screen.
4. Left Click on “spend and raise icon” on screen:
5. You will see a message saying that Spend and Raise has moved. Don’t worry Spend &
Raise was brought out by Easy Fundraising.
6. So to get to Easy Fundraising you can either:
i)
On screen, left click on the Easy Fundraising icon, which is the green box; or
ii)
Go to http://www.spendandraise.com/ewelmeprimaryschool/transfer-process.php
using your internet browser.
iii)
Go to on http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk
7. A new page will have been opened and you are now in the Easy Fundraising process.
8. Fill in your details:
i)
First name;
ii)
Surname;
iii)
E-mail address;
iv)
Create a password with more than 8 digits. (Best to use a mixture of letters, numbers
and it is case sensitive).
v)
left click in the box to confirm that you agree to the Terms and Conditions and
Privacy Protection policy (you have to do this to register);
vi)
Choose whether you want to receive tips etc, if so left click in the next box; if not
leave it unchecked. I have found the tips very useful and they do not flood your email
with messages!
9. Left click on the green box with “Continue” in white.
If you had registered under Spend and Raise you may now see the following wording next
to “email address”,
An account with this email address already exists. Click here to sign in.
Left click on “Click here to sign in” and a pop-up will appear saying that you are already
registered. If you;
i) remember your email address and password enter these into the appropriate boxes
and left click “Log in”.
ii) can’t remember your password then left click “Forgot your password?” and follow the
steps.
10. You are now in page 2 of 2 of the Registration Process.
11. Find and Remind - this is really helpful! Find and Remind is a toolbar which appears on
your internet browser if you go to a webpage which donates to Easy Fundraising (and
therefore to FOES). It does not on Amazon so please log on through the easy fundraising
site.
E.g. if you were to go on to Google and search for Amazon. Then you would see normal
search results, but with a small “ef” next to the page title and “Easy Fundraising Partner
xxx%). This means that the shop is a partner to Easy Fundraising and FOES will get a
donation from the store.
So left click to go into Amazon, you will see a yellow toolbar at the top of the webpage. You
then have the choice to “Active Easy Fundraising” which means that if you make any
purchases there will be an automatic donation (from the shop not you!) to FOES and the
tool bar will be hidden for that session OR chose to “No Thanks” which means there will be
no donation and the tool bar will be hidden for that session.
If you chose not install the Find and Remind toolbar then left click on the wording “Don't
want to install” below the Green Box with “Find and Remind”. BUT please then log in to
easy fundraising each time you shop online, either via the school’s portal or via
easyfundraising.org to ensure that FOES receive donations for your shopping.
12. Support a Good Cause
This is the page where you chose which charity you want to support. We would be
delighted in you would choose to support Ewelme primary school so please type “Ewelme
CE (A) Primary School, Ewelme” into the box underneath the search facility entitled “Name
of Good Cause”.
A drop down list will automatically appear under the text you typed and scroll down and left
click or press enter when “Ewelme CE (A) Primary School, Ewelme” is highlighted (it should
be the first on the list) and then left click search. Please note: the postcode search does
not find Ewelme School.
A list of possible options are set out below, left click Ewelme CE (A) Primary School or
click on “Support this cause” on the left hand side of the screen on the same line as the
wording Ewelme CE (A) Primary School.
13. Share the page
You are now registered and please use this tool and ask friends and family to sign up and
support Ewelme Primary School.
14. Start shopping and for each purchase you will receive an email confirming the amount that
you have raised for FOES (although this can take up to several weeks).
15. You can always check you details and how much you personally have raised for Ewelme by
logging into easyfunding.org
I have just received notification that there is now an APP available to download for smart
devices. Please download and so you can use easy fundraising wherever you are!
