A. Best Practices For Selling Current Product
i.
Maintain your The Magic of Cakes® stand and pages.
1. Place your TMOC® stand in a prominent position in your bakery
and place it at a height of 3 feet so children can easily access it.
2. Make sure your TMOC® pages are current and in good condition.
If you need new pages contact DecoPac, they are free of charge.
(Check it two times per year.)
3. Make sure your pages are in the correct tabbed sections. (Check it
two times per year.)

B. Best Practices For Moving Surplus Inventory
i.
DecoPac will provide individual “How To” sheets explaining
the steps necessary to execute promotions designed to reduce
excess inventory.
ii. “How To” Sheets Available
1. Kids Decorating Day: Set up a station in your bakery allowing
children to decorate cookies, cupcakes and cakes using excess
inventory.
2. BOGO: Give away a free decorated bakery item when you buy
another at regular price. (For example, a dozen cookies or a loaf of
bread.)
3. Grab Bag: Place excess non-licensed DecoSets® in a bin in the
bakery and let kids pull a prize if the parent has purchased another
bakery product. This will drive impulse purchases by children and
adults.
4. Theme Day: Take your entire excess inventory that has a common
theme and create a day where all your products (cakes, cookies,
cupcakes) have decorations featuring that theme.
5. Package Them Up: Place a ring in the 4th, 6th or 12th cavity of a
cupcake container and use it as a premium to help sell cupcakes.
You can also purchase the Cup O’ Fun™ packaging from DecoPac
that features a 2 cupcake container and is designed for impulse
purchases. One cavity contains a cupcake, the other a toy.
