This apartment has been tagged with a quirky, ‘tongue in cheek’ name. With two well established accommodation choices, we saw the opportunity to offer another, with the unique advantage of elevation. The name could simply imply ‘relaxed’, or ‘above all else’, but ideally we see it meaning ‘relaxed sophistication’. Amble Over has an open plan lounge / dining area; it is extremely comfortable and very spacious. Amble at Hahndorf is life at your own pace’ Amble Over Apartment (Terms and Conditions) The Terms and Conditions upon which the properties of ‘Amble at Hahndorf’ Amble Over apartment is offered when booked and occupied for short stay, long stay & group accommodation, are covered by the terms of this agreement between the Owner/Manager and Guest/s. General requirements Guest and Visitors must comply with all House Rules, By-Laws and instructions from the Manager and security services during their stay; and Guests must notify the Manager of any disputes or complaints from neighbours as soon as is practicable. Amble at Hahndorf or its nominated security firm reserves the right to evict guests from the property if any of the following criteria are not met. If evicted due to breaching our ‘House Rules’, no monies shall be refunded. Noise and Residential amenity Guests and Visitors must not create noise which is offensive to occupiers of our other venues and neighbouring properties especially between 10pm - 8am and during arrival and departure at any time throughout the occupancy. Guests and Visitors must not engage in anti-social behaviour and must minimise their impact upon the residential amenity of our neighbours and the local community. Guests shall not act in an unruly or disruptive manner and shall not interfere with or impact on our other guests’ enjoyment. Guests shall also refrain from using offensive language, making obscene gestures, throwing objects and possessing prohibited or illegal items. Offensive and excessive noise is prohibited and may result in termination of permission to occupy the property, resulting in eviction with loss of monies paid. Guests may incur extra charges for security, damages and other expenses which will be deducted from the Security Deposit or Bond under the Terms and Conditions of our House Rules. Visitors Guests are responsible for ensuring the limits set on Visitor numbers is complied with at all times; and Guests are responsible for ensuring that Visitors comply with these House Rules. Gatherings or functions None of the venues belonging to Amble at Hahndorf are “party houses” and any such activities are strictly prohibited; And Any gathering, celebration or entertainment permitted at a Property must not conflict with residential amenity and must comply with all the other requirements. There is to be no outside gatherings or entertaining after 10.00pm. BBQ There is a BBQ located outside for your pleasure. Please take care and use the Safety Guide lines located in your compendium. Spare gas bottles are available from Reception. If you don’t feel confident in changing a gas bottle, please contact us to arrange a solution. 1 Amble Over Apartment (Terms and Conditions) Smoking Smoking is not permitted inside any building of Amble at Hahndorf. Smoking is permitted in outdoor areas including balconies. Ashtrays have been provided for the disposal of your cigarette butts. Do not dispose of cigarette butts in garden beds, lawns or on paved areas. Guests found in breach of this rule will be warned and subsequent breaches will result in review of your occupancy agreement and possible eviction. It is your responsibility to ensure that your visitors observe this regulation. Parking Guests and Visitors are to comply with parking regulations and other requirements set out below and show consideration to neighbours and other vehicles; and Parking arrangements at the Property are as follows: Cars only permissible on driveway and on the roadway in accordance with Mount Barker District Council’s signage. No cars are allowed to restrict neighbouring properties access or be parked or driven on any grassed areas. Housekeeping Your co-operation would be highly regarded and greatly appreciated if: Dishes and utensils are washed and put away. Damp/wet towels left either in the bathroom or bathtub. All items ie glassware, crockery, cutlery etc, are returned to original venues. Additional or extra rubbish is placed in the larger bins located outside the venue/s and all damages and breakages are reported to Management. Compliance & Consequences Breach of these House Rules is a breach of the Terms and Conditions of occupancy. The Owner and Manager reserve the right to terminate permission to occupy resulting in eviction from the Property of any Guests or Visitors who refuse to follow these House Rules or who cause a nuisance. The consequences of not complying with the Terms and Conditions requirements can include enforcement action from the Owner &/or Manager, security services, local councils or, in some instances, the Police. Cancellation policy A full refund of any deposit paid will be given if the booking is cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival or a gift voucher may be issued so you can book at a later date. Cancellations notified 30 days or less but more than 14 days prior to arrival forfeit the full deposit paid. Cancellations notified less than 14 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit all monies paid. We recommend that you take out travel insurance to provide protection against loss due to illness, injury, loss of luggage and cancellation of travel. 2 Amble Over Apartment (Terms and Conditions) Location instructions Directions to Amble Over Apartment From Adelaide take the M1 Freeway and take Hahndorf exit, drive towards Hahndorf (two kilometres) and as you come into town Hereford Avenue is on your right (Udder Delights & Somerled Wines are located on the corners). Amble at Hahndorf is on your right, 150 metres from the corner. Travel time from the CBD by Vehicle: approx. 20 mins. Travelling to Adelaide on M1 Freeway, take Mt Barker exit, and turn right at T Junction and then left at roundabout. Drive through the town of Hahndorf, Hereford Avenue is on your left (Udder Delights & Somerled Wines are located on the corners). Travel time by Bus from the Adelaide Airport to CBD: approx. 40 mins. Hail the Bus J1 from the Airport and get off on Currie Street. Travel time by Bus from the CBD to Hahndorf: approx. 50 mins. The kitchen has Fridge, Microwave, Kettle, Toaster, Electric Frying Pan and portable Induction Hotplate with suitable pots. Incidental items are a container suitable for Microwave use, additional bowls etc for serving. There is a full range of cutlery, crockery and glassware that we hope will meet most needs and help make your stay more enjoyable. There is also a Gas ‘Hooded’ BBQ. When weather permits, cooking breakfast on the BBQ is a good option and even eating outside lets you enjoy the experience even more. (Outdoor table settings provided).
